Kiki and the New Magic

The magic I can use isn’t so extraordinary. All I can do is fly through the sky on a broom.

It’s been a year since Kiki and her clever cat Jiji started up their flying delivery service in the town of Koriko. In that time the little witch has become famous. But fame comes with its own challenges and, when a delivery goes wrong, Kiki loses her confidence.

Determined to overcome her fears, Kiki must summon all her courage, listen closely to those who love her, and perhaps even embrace a new kind of magic.

Kiki and the New Magic is the enchanting sequel to Kiki’s Delivery Service – the Japanese classic that inspired the Studio Ghibli film. Beautifully translated by Emily Balistrieri and brought to life with exquisite illustrations by Joe Todd-Stanton.
